We are recruiting HCAs to work at Cottage Ward

We will offer you a full induction and training support package tailored to the needs of the right candidates.

There are full and part time posts available.

This post requires working rotational shifts.

Main duties of the job

Join our team, we pride ourselves in providing outstanding care to patients across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. We will provide you with resources to develop and progress a long-term career as well as flexibility, continual professional development as well as a wide range of wellbeing and support.

As a Healthcare Support Worker you will be responsible for providing care to people admitted to our ward for rehabilitation. We work closely as a multi-disciplinary team. Our focus is promoting the comfort and wellbeing of patients, enabling them to live as independently as possible. Pershore is a small but friendly team to work with. As a team we encourage ongoing learning and development through reflection and clinical supervision which we try and embed in our daily practice.

Our support workers are required to support the nurses in the running of the ward, working alongside all members of the MDT as well as patients, their families and carers to provided 24/7 rehabilitation to enable the highest level of independence and quality of life.

Successful applicants will be expected to work a variety of shifts over a 7-day period including days and nights and weekends.
