Community Outreach Officer – ACH Refugee Integration Services Provider
We’re looking for a Community Outreach Officer to join our team for a casual 6‑week contract of 10 hours per week based in Bristol. The role provides £25 per hour and offers 25 days of annual leave (pro‑rata) plus bank holidays.

About ACH

What You’ll Be Doing
* Recruit 20 participants for a November research workshop and 10 for online one‑to‑one sessions, ensuring engagement from diverse community groups.
* Work closely with the Support and Marketing Teams to design and share multilingual outreach materials.
* Strengthen community links by engaging with tenants and service users.
* Attend two online training sessions—one on GDPR, safeguarding, health and safety, and trauma‑informed practice, and one on project overview.
* Participate in an evaluation session at the end of the project to share feedback and learning.
* Co‑develop project material in multiple languages.
* Help spread awareness of the project and encourage participation.
* Book and prepare the workshop venue.
* Support participant engagement before, during and after the event.
* Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and participant sign‑ups.
What We’re Looking For
* Lived experience of forced migration.
* Strong communication skills, with fluency in English and at least one other community language.
* The ability to engage and build trust with diverse groups.
* Organised, reliable and able to work to deadlines.
* A commitment to equality, diversity and safeguarding.
* Flexibility to occasionally work evenings/weekends.
