What you will do:
1. Our Mortgage Telephone Business Development Managers are the face and voice of Metro Bank for mortgage intermediaries, responsible for delivering AMAZEING service
2. Be a key point of contact for mortgage intermediaries, by building relationships while promoting our specialist proposition
3. Proactively develop and support our intermediary partners - working alongside field-based Business Development Managers
4. Activities include identifying new opportunities, outbound calling and virtual presentations, whilst managing your intermediaries inbound new business enquiries and application updates
5. Be passionate about providing an AMAZEING and professional service to mortgage intermediaries, ensuring a full understanding of our mortgage proposition and our target market, within our SLAs
6. Plan 2-3 weeks ahead, but reacting to changes in the market, new products, and specific business needs
7. Understand the regulatory obligations of the intermediary mortgage channel and he wider mortgage and banking sector

What you will need:
8. You must have knowledge and experience gained within a previous role within banking or another financial services organization
9. You must have proven relationship and stakeholder management experience
10. You must have excellent mortgage product and policy knowledge
11. You must have up to date knowledge of compliance and Mortgage regulation
12. You must have knowledge and work experience gained within a previous mortgage role within the intermediary or direct industry, or as a Telephone BDM/consultant in another organization
13. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and the confidence to work independently
14. Ideally CeMAP qualified
15. Clearly passionate about developing your career within mortgages
