Higher Level Teaching Assistant
The Governors and Head Teacher of Holy Rood Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant who can join our dedicated and enthusiastic team of fabulous children and superb staff.
The successful candidate will:
Have a good general level of education, including Maths and English GCSE grade C/5 or above, or further relevant experience in the absence of formal qualifications Have NVQ level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent Have experience of working within the primary curriculum Be confident with teaching both groups of children and a whole class, in the absence of a teacher Have high expectations of all pupils’ achievements and behaviour, and a commitment to raising standards Have the drive and motivation to create inspiring learning environments and engaging resources Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to working as part of a team, being able to communicate effectively with colleagues and external agencies Be organised and able to show initiative, reflecting on their own practice Be motivated, with a good sense of humour and an eagerness to learn and develop professionally We can offer you:
