Role Overview
We have a unique opportunity for a competent CNC Process Development Engineer to join a busy aerospace engineering company. This role focuses on operator process development, including methods planning and work instruction creation.
Duties
* Help write and manage work instructions that the shop floor machinists use.
* Plan methods and create work instructions.
* Enter instructions into Solumina (Manufacturing Execution System).
* Support the wider Manufacturing Support team where necessary.
* Perform data extrapolation and complex process breakdown.
Background
* Mechanical/Precision Engineering qualifications.
* Competent in the use of Solumina (Manufacturing Execution System).
* Exposure and use of SAP (ERP System).
* Understanding of Machine shop fundamentals including CNC.
