As Records Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and embedding the Mining Remediation Authority’s approach to information and records management. You’ll bring a blend of expertise, curiosity, and a commitment to high standards.
You will have:
* Experience in managing both paper and electronic records to a required standard
* Strong knowledge and experience in FOIA, EIR and Data Protection
* Confidence in managing stakeholder relationships and providing excellent customer service
* A disciplined approach to deadlines, accuracy and attention to detail
* The ability to influence others and drive good records management practice across the organisation
About The Role
This is an opportunity to lead meaningful change, improve systems and ensure our information is managed with integrity and confidence.
You will:
* Lead and champion excellent records management practices across the organisation
* Manage records to required standards and ensure compliance with legislation including the Public Records Act, FOIA, EIR and UK GDPR
* Act as the Departmental Records Officer (DRO) and be the primary liaison with The National Archives
* Manage and maintain the Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS)
* Oversee physical and digital records stores to ensure safe, efficient and compliant service delivery
* Support FOI requests, Subject Access Requests (SARs), internal reviews and ICO complaints
* Contribute to organisational projects where information governance, compliance or records systems are critical
