3. Complete key duties such as observations, inspections, and audits to promote injury prevention and training compliance, and participate in management audits to build trust and support.
4. Assist in first aid and incident investigations, providing technical advice and support to leadership to ensure duty of care is met, causal factors are identified, and corrective actions are driven.
5. Maintain oversight of action tracking and compliance systems, hold action owners accountable, and provide coaching to improve performance.
6. Understand and monitor compliance with key regulatory, legislative, and internal standards (HASAWA, MHSAW, RIDDOR), reporting to the WHS Manager as needed.
7. Complete daily standard work as assigned by the WHS Manager and communicate completion.
8. Advise and collaborate with operations to undertake and review risk assessments to ensure safety and proactive control measure deployment.
9. Learn and implement Amazon WHS procedures, providing technical advice to leadership.
10. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in safety investigations.
11. Support coaching, training, and briefings to operational teams to ensure compliance and promote safe behaviors.
