Private Client Tax Senior
£40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
Full-time (part-time hours considered)
Based in Leeds - minimum 1 day per week in the office
The Role
This is a predominantly compliance-focused position with scope to get involved in advisory assignments where appropriate. You will work closely with colleagues and clients to ensure high-quality service delivery throughout the year.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and reviewing Self-Assessment tax returns
Liaising directly with clients and HMRC
Managing HMRC correspondence and resolving queries
Supporting ad hoc advisory projects
Collaborating with team members to gather and review client information
Assisting with Making Tax Digital (MTD) quarterly reporting
Trust experience is advantageous but not essential
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Ideally ATT qualified, or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
Experienced in preparing personal tax returns
Confident in communicating with clients and HMRC
Organised, proactive and able to manage deadlines during busy periods
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
