Main Responsibilities
Part of the maintenance team ensuring the efficient and safe operation of equipment and facilities through the performance of routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
LDH are well established food distributors based in Ipswich with an impressive purpose-built office with a 45,000 holding palette fully automated warehouse. LDH have over 60 years’ experience supplying the major UK supermarkets and is recognised as the leading Own Label supplier of a wide range of ambient foods, sourced from every corner of the world.
Key Accountabilities:
* Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.
* Conduct regular inspections of machinery/equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning.
* Perform mechanical and/or electrical and/or plumbing repairs
* Vehicle Management
* Liaise with full spectrum of service providers and engineers
* Produce service reports and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
* Upload documents accurately and create actions as directed
* Service diary management
* Ensure works are completed in the relevant timescales
* Procurement of goods and services.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritise tasks effectively.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area.
* Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and parts.
* Participate in training and development activities to enhance technical skills
