Overview
Security Officer role responsible for protecting our customer's property, people and assets in accordance with published Assignment Instructions (AIs) and any subsequent changes. This position emphasizes delivering results that meet or exceed KPIs/SLA and ongoing self-development through training.
Main Duties
* To protect our customer's property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent changes.
* Delivering results that meet and/or exceed the Key performance indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer through full responsibility and accountability, providing a service that aids in the retention of the contract.
* Fully and satisfactorily complete all of the tasks and duties on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AI's).
* Proactively refer to and review the published Assignment Instructions, familiarising oneself with changes and suggesting amendments to improve the current level of service.
Hours of work
Thursday & Friday 14:00–24:00; Saturday 08:00–24:00. Total 36 hours per week.
Training
* Fully and satisfactorily complete all required competency training.
* Undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development as directed by the Security Account Manager.
* Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop job knowledge and expertise through continual professional development.
* Renew your licence 16 weeks before expiry.
Security and Health & Safety
* Look out for and immediately report Health & Safety hazards or potential hazards on site.
* Stay alert to threats or changes within the work environment and take appropriate action to reduce disruption, loss or damage.
* Maintain professional conduct when facing difficult situations and challenging customers.
* Complete accurate, detailed notebook entries after any incident for the Incident Report process.
* Ensure check calls are carried out at the allocated time slot as stipulated in the Assignment Instructions (AIs).
* Call emergency services and the Communication Centre to report all incidents.
