A chance to make a life-changing difference for vulnerable children?
The Virtual Schools in Barnet, Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham and Harrow are looking for a new Enrichment Coordinator to deliver an innovative cross-borough partnership that has provided hundreds of care-experienced children and young people with enrichment opportunities since 2017. This is an exciting opportunity to help lead and shape this unique partnership between five Virtual Schools and educational charity, Securing Success, for the next three years – and possibly more.
As the Enrichment Coordinator, you will be leading on, developing and facilitating enrichment opportunities in education, arts, culture, sports and more, in order to support young people's educational, personal and social development. You will work closely with staff from all five Virtual Schools to identify needs and activity providers, recruit young participants, risk-assess, co-ordinate staffing, logistics and evaluate delivery. You will also engage the teams around the child, sharing activities and learning with social workers, foster carers and other teams within the Virtual Schools.
This opportunity would suit someone who is a self-starter looking for a new challenge in education, youth and/or care sectors. There is scope for you to lead and shape the future of the initiative and help in sharing this model with other local authorities and stakeholders. It is a hybrid role and will suit someone who is willing to work flexibly in out-of-school hours.
