Job Description HSE Recruitment are working with a Global manufacturing business who are seeking a European Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to join their business, supporting the aftermarket operations.
The role reports into the Safety Director based in Germany and although there are no direct reports, there are boots on the ground in the European Regions to lean upon.
The successful candidate will be commutable to their Buckingham office but this role will also be responsible for operations at their engineering facilities at a second UK site, in Germany and in the Netherlands. As such regular travel is required and essential for this role, this is not a job that can be done from behind a desk.
This role is a supporting role, the business leaders on each site have the day to day responsibility for H&S, the manager is there to advise and guide. The business has moved away from the staff asking, ‘why do we have to do things this way’ to ‘how can we do it’ and it is this person’s role to show and guide them.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the implementation of all legal and internal company EH&S regulations as well as constant monitoring of their compliance
