As the organisation grows, we are looking for a passionate and experienced SENCO to lead on SEND provision across their sites. Based out of their Maidstone college, you will be travelling to their different sites on a 6 weekly basis. All travel and expenses are reimbursed.
As a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), you will play a vital role in ensuring that all young people with additional needs receive the support they need to succeed. You'll be based in one of their colleges in Maidstone, leading on the identification, planning, and delivery of high-quality SEN support in line with the SEND Code of Practice.
Lead on EHCP reviews, annual reviews, and liaise with local authorities as required.
National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete)
* Proven experience as a SENCO or in a similar SEND leadership role
* Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice (0-25)
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to travel to multiple sites and manage a varied workload
This is a full-time permanent role, working 4 days per week, offering flexibility and a strong work-life balance within a passionate and collaborative team.
