Drivers Direct Recruitment is looking for reliable and motivated 7.5 Tonne Delivery Drivers to join our clients growing team in Castleford. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking immediate work with the potential to go permanent for the right candidates.
?? Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday
* Start time: 13:30
* Minimum 8 hours per shift (Agency)
* Minimum 40 hours per week (Permanent)
?? Pay Details:
* £13.13 per hour + £1.59 holiday pay = £14.72 per hour (all hours inclusive)
* Permanent rate: £525.20/week base + £63.60 holiday pay = £588.80/week
* 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) when permanent
?? Duties & Responsibilities:
* Multi-drop deliveries (1224 drops per shift)
* Delivering items to customers' room of choice
* Working as part of a 2-person crew
* Some assembly of furniture required (training provided)
* Ensuring all tasks are completed safely, accurately, and professionally
* Completing any necessary paperwork as required
? Requirements:
* Valid 7.5 tonne licence (Cat C1) held for at least 1 year
* Minimum 6 months driving experience
* Multi-drop experience preferred (not essential)
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong communication and customer service skills
