Production Manager
. We are looking for someone who can lead performance in a high-paced, automated food manufacturing environment.
* Please note this client does not offer Visa sponsorship, only candidates with full Right to Work in the UK and relevant experience to this role will be considered. The successful candidate must also have a full UK driving license with access to their own vehicle.
About The Role
You will take on a leadership role within the largest department on site, managing a team of 17-20 staff operating automated packing lines.
* Leading and developing a high-performing team.
* Managing performance and safety.
* Updating daily plan boards and tracking KPIs.
* Driving continuous improvement across automation, safety, and process.
* Playing a key part in delivering new projects and supporting site-wide investment plans.
* This role operates on a
rotating 3-week shift pattern

. Essentially between Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.

Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who can bring more than just technical skills — we want energy, leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset. You'll be resilient and hands-on, with a view to adding value from the get go.
* Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge / experience of working with automated packing lines.
* Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
* Strong knowledge of continuous improvement, fault diagnosis, and technical problem solving.
* HACCP and Food Hygiene training.
* NEBOSH General Certificate (desirable).
* Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma (desirable).
