ICU Clinical Pharmacist
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated ICU Pharmacist to join a busy hospital team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically focused pharmacist with critical care experience to play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care within a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist clinical pharmacy support to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
* Review and optimise medication therapy for critically ill patients
* Work closely with consultants, nursing staff, and the wider multidisciplinary team
* Support safe and effective prescribing practices
* Participate in ward rounds and clinical decision-making
* Ensure compliance with medicines management policies and procedures
* Provide advice on antimicrobial stewardship, nutrition support, and high-risk medicines
Requirements
* GPhC registered Pharmacist
* Previous NHS hospital pharmacy experience essential
* Prior ICU/Critical Care experience highly desirable
* Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
