Purchase Ledger Assistant
A brilliant opportunity has arisen to join a city centre based company as a full time, Purchase Ledger Assistant to work specifically within the purchase ledger team on a 6 month fixed term contract.
Working within quite a large department, you will be working alongside a friendly team who are responsible for reconciling supplier accounts, processing supplier invoices and transactions, and providing information for payment batches efficiently & accurately.
Your key tasks as a Purchase Ledger Assistant will include:
* Ensuring that purchase ledger transactions are processed
* Acting as the main contact point for account queries
* Managing supplier accruals to ensure accuracy
* Processing high volumes of invoices and transactions
* Preparing invoices ready for payment.
* General administration and non-routine payment processing as requested
What you will need:
1. Proven previous experience of working in a fast-paced accounts environment.
2. A high level of numeracy and data understanding/manipulation.
3. Confident and competent user of excel to an intermediate level.
4. Excellent and diplomatic telephone manner re: supplier contact point.
5. Excellent IT skills, including keyboard skills and Microsoft packages.
