Adult ADHD Nurse Assessor (Remote) Rate: £160 per assessment
Contract: Self-employed, outside IR35
Location: Remote
We are seeking experienced and dedicated healthcare professionals to deliver Adult ADHD assessments on a remote basis. This role is suited to clinicians who share strong professional values of commitment, trust, integrity and kindness, and who are passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based neurodevelopmental assessments.

Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD)
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, NICE-compliant ADHD assessments for adults aged 18+.
Conduct full ADHD diagnostic assessments for a diverse adult population.
Communicate effectively with neurodiverse adults, as well as internal and external professionals.
Produce clear, comprehensive clinical assessment reports within agreed timeframes.
What We’re Looking For
Confidence, competence and experience in delivering robust, high-quality ADHD assessments in line with NICE guidelines.
Comfortable diagnosing independently on the day and providing clear feedback on outcomes.
Ability to commit to face-to-face and/or remote assessment appointments.
Evidence of up-to-date clinical supervision, appraisal, professional registration and revalidation (NMC).
Ability to complete structured, high-quality clinical reports within 48 hours of assessment.
What You’ll Need
Demonstrable experience conducting adult ADHD assessments in line with NICE guidance.
Confidence engaging adult clients and managing the full assessment process independently.
Willingness to offer face-to-face assessments in Canterbury, alongside remote work.
Experience using diagnostic tools such as DIVA-5, CAARS, QBTest, and applying DSM-5 criteria.
Current NMC registration, with up-to-date supervision, appraisal and revalidation.
Appropriate professional indemnity insurance for self-employed practice.
