Specialist Physiotherapist - MSK
Location: HCA UK at the Shard, part of London Bridge Hospital, Central London.
Contract: Fixed term until 30th April 2026.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Shift pattern: 5 x 7.5 hours between 0800-2000 or 4 x long days.
Salary Range: Competitive dependent on skills and experience.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Physiotherapist with MSK outpatient experience to join our team at London Bridge Hospital, rated "outstanding" by the CQC. London Bridge Hospital has a central campus and its largest outpatient centre is The Shard Outpatients. The department covers a wide range of specialties including neurology, gynaecology, orthopaedics, pain management, physiotherapy, and more.
Working within the Outpatient Physiotherapy department as part of a team of sixteen therapists, the successful candidate will be responsible for a full MSK caseload, managing a variety of patient conditions, whilst supporting the Advanced Physiotherapists and clinical lead with service development initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for a musculoskeletal clinical caseload.
* Utilise advanced clinical reasoning skills to provide high‑quality physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment, facilitating evidence‑based care.
* Contribute to training across the Outpatient Physiotherapy department.
* Support the Clinical Lead and Advanced Physiotherapists in clinical service development initiatives.
* Actively seek opportunities to develop strong communication lines and relationships with orthopaedic, sports medicine, pain and rheumatology consultants.
What you’ll bring
* BSc or Masters qualification in Physiotherapy (equivalent qualification recognised by the HCPC).
* HCPC registered.
* Member of the CSP (desirable).
* Demonstrable experience (minimum 3 years post‑qualification) in an MSK outpatient setting.
