Location: Nationwide role with the ability to commute to Reading for handover.
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated radiologist to join the team as a sales specialist! This nationwide role would be perfect for someone looking to move into a more commercial role, as it involves increasing sales growth, maintaining the existing client user base, and consistently promoting a professional image of our company to suppliers, customers, and potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organising daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
* Maintain healthy business growth in the product portfolio subject to economic conditions.
* Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential clients.
* Submit and check orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
* Keep management informed by submitting activity and verbal reports.
* Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
* Recommend changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments.
* Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
* Contribute to other members of the sales team by promoting other products to clients during customer meetings.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Prior X-ray / theatre experience.
* Business awareness to hold credible discussions at a senior level, with high-level customer contacts.
* Successful track record in major account management or new business sales (desirable)
* Ability to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance.
* Understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising cost-effectiveness.
