Job Title: Personal Assistant
Location: Remote with occasional travel to different locations around Wales
Salary: £17.54 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary ongoing for a minimum of 12 months.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Personal Assistant to join a large public sector organisation. In this role, you will support a senior leadership team within one of the following: Finance, Customer Operations, Evidence and Permitting or Operations.
No specific background within the directorates is required, however you must be confident operating in a complex organisational environment.
This is a primarily remote position, however you may be required to attend meetings and workshops at various locations across Wales when needed.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PA who thrives in a fast paced, high level support role and is confident working with senior stakeholders.
The Role
You will provide high level professional, administrative and secretarial support to a designated Executive or Leadership Team member, enabling them to operate effectively and make best use of their time
Key responsibilities will include:
Full diary management and coordination of complex schedules.
Arranging meetings, travel and accommodation.
Acting as first point of contact for internal and external enquiries.
Preparing presentations, reports and briefing documents.
Providing secretariat support at meetings and boards.
Managing action logs, risk registers and decision records.
Supporting governance and corporate processes.
Processing and checking financial information
Coordinating cross directorate work and communications.
Building strong working relationships with senior executives, partner organisations and key external stakeholders, handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. What We’re Looking For
Experience in a Personal Assistant role supporting senior leaders.
Public sector experience is highly desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to work independently and manage your own workflow.
