Wealth Planning Leadership Opportunity
Our firm is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our wealth planning team in the UK region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive wealth planning services to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
About the Role:
The Head of Wealth Planning will be responsible for managing a team of wealth planners and collaborating with relationship managers, investment advisors, and legal/tax professionals to provide holistic solutions that align with clients' long-term goals. This role requires excellent communication skills, ability to explain complex tax and legal issues, and flexibility in resolving issues within the banking environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the wealth planning team's marketing and communication initiatives, exchange technical information with wealth planners, and ensure excellent technical expertise within the team.
* As a member of the UK Region Executive Committee, provide input and insights that support the delivery of a coherent and focused wealth planning strategy.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of wealth planners, ensuring high performance and continuous professional development.
* Contribute to the commercial success of private bankers by assisting and supporting prospects and existing client relationships with value-added and personalized wealth planning strategies and solutions.
* Represent the firm as a speaker at events on wealth planning subjects.
Key Qualifications:
A thorough knowledge of wealth planning subject matter, particularly relating to UK resident/non-domiciled individuals, UK entrepreneurs, and financial market professionals, as well as international aspects related to their situation. A minimum requirement of CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser). Proven track record in managing high-profile client relationships and strong relationships building skills. Capacity to understand cross-border planning and identify where input is required from other jurisdictions. Excellent knowledge of FCA compliance procedures and other regulatory requirements. Flexibility and creativity in resolving issues within the banking environment. A passion for working with private clients and attending in-person meetings.
