We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Administration Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the ECFWS administration hub. This key leadership role involves overseeing functional leads and ensuring the efficient delivery of core administrative services, including SPOC (Single Point of Contact), reporting, and business resource management.
The role is pivotal in maintaining best practice standards across the service, supporting staff development, and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency. You will ensure that administrative functions meet activity targets and service standards, acting as a crucial link between the administration hub and the Senior Management Team.
Requirements: You must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a car for business use.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage functional leads across the admin hub, ensuring effective workload distribution, absence management, and service continuity.
2. Oversee staff recruitment, performance appraisals, and development planning, ensuring compliance with mandatory training.
3. Implement and monitor best practice processes, SOPs, and governance structures to drive efficiency and standardisation.
4. Act as the primary escalation point for admin-related issues and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and communication with SMT.
5. Monitor KPIs and develop systems to support performance tracking, resource management, and continuous service improvement.
6. Support change processes within specific admin functions and ensure smooth implementation with functional leads.
7. Liaise with the Contracts & Performance Manager and finance team to support operational planning and resource management, including budget responsibilities.

Candidate Profile: An organized, proactive, and supportive leader with strong interpersonal and operational management skills. Experience managing teams, driving service improvements, and navigating complex operational challenges.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Significant experience in programme or project management.
* Degree level education, with postgraduate or equivalent experience preferred.
* Understanding of NHS strategies and performance targets.
* Ability to work flexibly, including travel and outside of standard hours.
* Strong communication skills and experience within an NHS environment.
* Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a car for business use.
