Job description: About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our team in Middleton, Greater Manchester. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality fabrications and welds using MIG and TIG techniques, adhering to engineering specifications and health & safety standards. You will interpret engineering drawings, perform inspections, and contribute to process improvements within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Produce quality fabrications and welds safely and efficiently
Interpret engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools
Operate fabrication equipment and overhead lifting tools
Inspect parts for quality and conformance to standards
Detect and address welding or fabrication issues promptly
Maintain clean and safe work areas and conduct basic equipment maintenance
Support additional duties as required by line management
Comply with NOV's Quality and HSE policies and procedures
Required profile: Qualifications & Skills
Time-served apprenticeship in Fabrication/Welding (e.g., City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3)
Proficient in MIG and TIG welding
Familiarity with ASME welding standards and processes
Competent with fabrication tools and equipment
Understanding of manual handling, slinging, and lifting techniques
Basic computer literacy and HSE awareness
Soft Skills (optional)
Strong time management and task prioritization
Effective communicator with a customer-focused mindset
Action-oriented and eager to learn new skills
