Job Title Qualifying Electrical Supervisor The Company Working with a Mechanical & Electrical engineering specialist with over 20 years’ experience, operating across sectors such as education, healthcare, housing, retail and leisure. Role Purpose To lead, supervise and coordinate on-site electrical works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, to quality standards and within budget. You will act as the technical lead for electrical teams and liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and manage electricians and subcontractors on site * Read, interpret and work from electrical drawings, specifications and schedules * Coordinate and schedule works to meet project timelines * Monitor workmanship, quality control and compliance with standards * Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures * Report on progress, costs, issues, and risk mitigation to project management * Assist with commissioning, testing, fault-finding and handover * Mentor and train junior staff and apprentices * Liaise with clients, installers, suppliers and other trades to ensure smooth workflow Requirements / Skills * Qualified electrician (e.g. 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3 / equivalent) * Previous supervisory or site leadership experience in electrical contracting * Strong technical knowledge of electrical installation, testing, verification and standards * Good communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to manage multiple tasks, scheduling and problem solving * Competent in reading technical drawings and specifications * Strong commitment to health & safety and quality * Full UK driving licence What They Offer * Competitive salary * Opportunity to work on diverse, high-profile projects * Supportive team environment and career growth * Training and development in line with industry standards
