Join us as a 1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant, helping primary and secondary students who struggle with behaviour, social-emotional challenges, or mental health needs. Leader Education is recruiting passionate Behaviour Support Assistants to work across Leeds schools, supporting pupils who need consistent adult guidance to succeed both academically and emotionally. The Role This is a full-time, long-term role (Monday–Friday) where you will: Provide dedicated 1:1 support for identified pupils Support behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing Use de-escalation strategies and positive behaviour approaches Help pupils remain engaged in lessons Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral staff Promote confidence, routine, and structure Pupils may present with SEMH needs, ASC, ADHD, or attachment and trauma-related behaviours.
