Overview
Erewash North Adult Social Care Team is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our very busy team. This post is temporary for up to 12 months covering maternity leave.
Responsibilities
* Complete assessments under the Care Act to identify care needs and develop person‑centred support plans.
* Provide social work support and advice to clients and carers, applying the universal offer and drawing on community resources whenever possible.
* Assess and manage risk and work effectively under the Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults policy and procedures.
* Contribute regularly to the team duty rota.
* Work within a hybrid model, from home and the local office.
Qualifications
* Relevant social work qualification and experience in adult social work.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a person‑centred way in accordance with current legislation and policies.
* Knowledge of the Care Act, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults policy and related legislation.
