Job Description

We’re looking for an engaging, communicative, driven and highly organised Ecommerce Coordinator to join our team and help shape the future of online retail.

This is a full-time position, based at our office and reports to the company Vice President. Premises address is 35 Brookgate, Bristol, BS3 2UN.

Responsibilities

* Organise and manage our team of Copywriters and Product Data Entry Specialists to add new brands and products to the website
* Ensure accurate and detailed product listings, adding new products and updating existing ones
* Coordinate with suppliers for product data and assets
* Organise and manage digital asset libraries and product content
* Review listings for accuracy and completeness, conduct regular audits of product information and imagery, and fix errors, missing information, or formatting issues
* Create and optimise product collections that support marketing campaigns including email marketing and social media
* Coordinate with marketing team on campaign merchandising
* Manage navigation menus, product categories and search filters
* Determine which brands and collections to feature prominently on the homepage, and create compelling homepage merchandising
* Design and implement banners and promotional graphics to align with marketing campaigns and sales events
* Develop and implement cross-sell and upsell merchandising strategies
* Optimise product placement based on seasonality, trends, and sales data
* Link new products in our price monitoring tool, and manage exceptions/issues
* Collaborate with buyers, marketing, and creative teams
* Utilise AI and machine learning tools for product recommendations
* Monitor product performance metrics like page views, and click-through and conversion rates
* Monitor site functionality and report technical issues
* Stay current with e-commerce and digital merchandising technologies

Requirements

* 2+ years direct ecommerce or digital merchandising experience
* Proficiency with Shopify
* Extremely detail-oriented; someone who is uncomfortable with even the smallest inconsistency or imperfection
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including strong oral and written articulation skills, for cross-team collaboration
* Basic HTML/CSS knowledge and skills
* Experience with Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting
* Familiarity with analytics tools including Google Analytics
* Supremely organised with an ability to highlight the key challenges and how to meet them
* Use of critical thinking skills to improve product visibility
* A deep understanding of e-commerce business practices
* A creative problem solver who demonstrates out-of-the-box thinking
* A proactive and highly motivated team player
* Meets the very highest standards of integrity and ethical behaviour
* Must be detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to multitask with solid organisational and time-management skills

* Competitive remuneration of £28,000 to £32,000 per annum based on experience and skills
