Key Responsibilities
* Deliver bespoke rates appeal and mitigation advice to investor and occupier clients.
* Manage your own client base and caseload, taking on increasing responsibility as you progress.
* Build and maintain strong business relationships with both new and existing clients.
* Provide rating advice to developer and landlord clients across all stages of the development cycle.
* Assist with the preparation of Valuation Tribunal documentation and casework.
* Collaborate with colleagues across complementary service lines to maximise opportunities.
Key Requirements
* Strong knowledge of the UK property market and rating legislation.
* MRICS qualification with proven experience in providing rating advice and negotiating appeals.
* Skilled in surveying and inspection, with excellent attention to detail.
* Commercially astute with an entrepreneurial approach to business development.
* Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle a varied caseload.
* Confident IT user; familiarity with rating software such as Riverlake and Analyse is advantageous.
