The Role
As a IT Software Product Owner, you will act as the liaison between the IT development groups and business units for the development of new systems and enhancement of current systems. Evaluates new applications, system requirements, development in the field of expertise and evolving business needs to recommend appropriate solutions and alternatives.
Responsibilities:
· Specialised knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique issues
· Direct the daily activities of the business, technical support
· Prioritise the completion of assigned tasks
· Use your own judgement to interpret internal and external issues and development best practices
· Prioritise tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
· Serve as an agile product owner ensuring our software development projects aligning with customers’ needs and delivering maximum value whilst adhering to the scrum methodologies
· Drive analysis, validation and verification to determine which data is required to support the business needs.
· Support the definition of road maps and portfolios of changes that reflect business strategy and performance objectives
· Establish strong relationships with teams across the business
Skills & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or area with relevant numbers of years
· Experience as business analyst or project manager
· Scrum product owner
· Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through on action
· Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
· Prioritise workload effectively delegate while maintaining high standards
· Stakeholder management to facilitate change delivery in the busy working environment
