Pearson Whiffin Education are working with a school based in Sittingbourne to recruit a new Finance Administrator. This role will start in May / June 2026 and be filled on a temporary 12month contract. Temp to Perm may be an option.
The primary objective of your role will be to support the schools delivery of outstanding education by providing high-quality financial support. Working closely within a team of Finance Officers, a finance manager and school based leaders you will use your experience and skills to ensure best practice in financial management.
In this very busy role experience in a school would be very beneficial but other busy environments can be considered. Accuracy and attention to detail in your work will be essential. An enhanced DBS is mandatory so candidates who already have one will be sought after.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Processing purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices
2. Supporting the management of banking and payments
3. Provide all round financial support to school leaders and trust staff
4. Assist finance managers with in school financial projects
