Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Educational Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) or Children's Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) to join the Hertsmere School‑Based Mental Health Support Team (MHST). This team is one of the first national trailblazers and provides a caring, supportive, fun and flexible working environment with clear objectives, direction and regular supervision.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver early interventions to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns in educational settings.
* Work alongside qualified and trainee EMHPs, Senior Practitioners and a Team Leader to support a range of schools across the borough.
* Facilitate group work and workshops, including those that may take place outside core hours.
* Provide support year‑round, including during school holidays, and collaborate with staff from diverse cultural backgrounds, using interpreters when necessary.
* Contribute to service development and participate in ongoing professional development and supervision.
Working Hours
Core hours are Monday to Friday 9:00–17:00, with occasional work outside these times for group facilitation or other duties as required.

Qualifications
Qualified as an EMHP or CWP with experience in providing mental health support within an educational setting. Previous experience working as part of a MHST or similar multidisciplinary team is desirable.
