We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established facilities services provider for a Health and Safety Manager to take the lead in driving a positive safety culture across diverse sites and operations. Key Responsibilities: * Design, implement, and sustain robust health and safety management systems. * Perform routine risk assessments and safety audits across all sites and operations. * Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable health and safety laws and industry best practices. * Offer expert health and safety advice and support to operational teams and leadership. * Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near-misses, driving effective corrective measures. * Facilitate engaging health and safety training sessions for employees at all levels. * Maintain detailed records and generate regular reports on health and safety performance. * Coordinate with external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, insurers, and certification agencies. * Promote and embed a strong safety culture across the organization * Assist the Head of Compliance with strategic health and safety planning and policy formulation. Qualifications / Experience: * NEBOSH General Certificate (Essential). * Minimum of 3 years proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably within Facilities Management or Construction (other backgrounds will be considered depending on experience). * Strong understanding of current H&S legislation and best practices. * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * Ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and H&S management software. * Full UK driving licence. * NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent higher qualification (Desirable). * IOSH membership. * Internal auditing qualifications (ISO 45001/18001, 9001, 14001) (Desirable). * Fire safety or first aid qualifications.
