Part Time Assistant Scientist - Media Preparation role at Fera Science Ltd. This is a part-time position (15 hrs per week) working Thursday & Friday. You’ll support the smooth running of the laboratory, including preparing culture media, managing waste disposal and maintaining essential supplies. This is a hands-on, practical role ideal for someone who enjoys working with precision, staying organized, and being part of a collaborative team.

What you’ll be doing
* Preparing high-quality culture media and buffers.
* Autoclaving waste and cleaning glassware.
* Managing stock levels of essential lab supplies.
* Collaborating with scientists, facility teams, and contractors to keep everything running smoothly.

* A relevant science qualification or equivalent experience.
* A keen eye for detail and ability to follow protocols accurately.
* A collaborative team player who thrives in busy environments.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently.
* Strong time management and task prioritisation.
* Committed to producing high-quality work.
* Clear and confident communicator—both written and verbal.
