Requirements
You will have an HNC, or equivalent, in Accountancy/Business/Management, or a relevant subject. You will have work experience at supervisory/management level.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the administration of the Council's treasury activities and the administration of the investment portfolios of Tayside Pension Fund.
The Individual
You will have experience of treasury management, pension investment administration, and accounting, along with experience of using computerised treasury systems. A thorough knowledge of related systems, processes, and procedures is required, as well as experience dealing with investment professionals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel at an advanced level, is essential. Good verbal and written communication skills, high interpersonal skills, excellent numeracy and accuracy skills, and the ability to organize and prioritize workload, work under pressure, and meet deadlines are also essential. You should have the ability to train staff on routine tasks. A satisfactory Level 1 Disclosure Scotland check is required.
