The role of Cleaning Technician will include:
1. Undertaking cleaning duties in accordance with local and legislative procedures, serving as a first point of contact
2. Identifying and reporting any hazards and faults to ensure a safe environment in maintained
3. Assisting customers and responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet their expectations in accordance with service standards
4. Providing accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed
5. Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and continue to be suitable for required tasks
6. Maintaining stock levels and ensuring requisitions are completed and authorised in a timely manner
Skills and experiences:
7. Literacy and numeracy equivalent to grade C GCSE English and Maths
8. British Institute Certificate in cleaning services or willing to work towards
9. Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties
10. Knowledge of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) guidelines
11. Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills
12. Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation

24. The full time equivalent salary for this role is £26,436 based on 40 hours per week
