Housing Manager: Income Leeds, West Yorkshire
Permanent, Full time (37.5 hours per week)

About the Role
We have two great opportunities for a Housing Manager to join our housing team in Yorkshire, part of our wider East Coast and Yorkshire region. You’ll be savvy in commercial aspects and local reporting, keeping abreast of benefit changes and understanding their impact on our region and customers. Working closely with financial inclusion colleagues and internal campaigns, you’ll support our complex/vulnerable customers, with extensive experience in income collection within another sector being advantageous.
Responsibilities
1. Arrears & Income Management: Support customers, identify regional trends, advise on benefit applications, maximize income, and make referrals to external agencies.
2. Campaign Work: Collaborate on campaigns to reduce arrears, work with customers in localities, and proactively reduce debt to benefit customers.
Candidate Requirements
* Background in income protection & arrears management, housing sector or similar.
* Knowledge of housing management, law, universal credit, and housing benefit.
* Experience in income and benefits support.
* Organized, proactive, and customer-focused with resilience and a positive attitude.

IT skills and a valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle are required; mileage will be reimbursed. An Enhanced DBS check is necessary, paid for by us.
