Overview
Delivery Lead at Barclays, responsible for supporting the delivery of the Corporate Bank resilience program to meet regulatory obligations and avoid intolerable harm to clients in the event of technology outages. The Delivery Lead will work closely with technology and operations teams across the organisation to drive the delivery of the Corporate Bank’s resilience improvements and response plans.
Responsibilities
* Scope Management: Manage a single project with defined objectives, deadlines and deliverables, delivering on time, within scope, and on budget.
* Strategic Focus: Focus on day-to-day management of resources, schedules and deliverables for the project.
* Time Horizon: Operate within a shorter, defined timeframe with a clear project start and end.
* Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders related to the project to ensure clear expectations and deliverables.
* Risk and Issue Management: Identify and mitigate risks and issues within the project scope.
* Resource Management: Ensure the project has the necessary skills, tools and time.
* Financial Management: Manage the project budget and financial constraints.
* Metrics: Measure success based on timely completion of deliverables within scope, time and budget.
* Change Management: Manage changes impacting the project scope, timelines or resource allocation.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience in leading technical changes and/or complex resilience projects
* Payments domain knowledge
* Risk management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply thought leadership
Other Valued Skills
* Stakeholder Management – Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
* Analytical Background – Experience in a design or analytical role, such as Business Analyst, Solution Architect, Designer, etc.
