Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Legal Executive/Licensed Conveyancer – Newton Abbot, DevonFull-time | Permanent2+ Years PQE
Existing Caseload & Admin Support Provided
This well-established boutique law firm in Newton Abbot is looking to expand its Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Conveyancer, Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2 years' PQE to join a close-knit and supportive practice handling quality conveyancing work
Key Responsibilities:
As part of the Residential Property department, you will:
* Manage a caseload of residential conveyancing files from instruction to completion
* Handle a broad mix of property matters including:
o Freehold and leasehold sales & purchases
o New build transactions
o Shared ownership and Help to Buy
o Remortgages and equity release
* Work on a realistically sized caseload with full administrative support
* Collaborate closely with experienced colleagues to further develop your technical skills
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* 2+ years PQE as a Solicitor, Legal Executive (CILEx), or Licensed Conveyancer
* Proven experience in residential property law
* Ability to manage a conveyancing caseload independently
* Strong client care and organisational skills
* Confident in handling varied matters including new build and shared ownership
Experienced Paralegals and unqualified Fee Earners with a stable track record of running their own caseloads are also encouraged to apply
