Day Rate: £275 - £300 (Contract) or Negotiable Salary (Permanent)
About the company: Our client is a thriving contractor in the building services industry, specializing in electrical & mechanical solutions & working with many key, blue-chip clients.
Position Overview
They are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join the team based on a new-build project in Reading - M&E Value of £8 million. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building services, up-to-date qualifications, and the ability to lead and coordinate electrical projects effectively.
Responsibilities
 * Oversee electrical installation project from cradle to grave, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations.
 * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
 * Implement and maintain high-quality standards throughout the electrical installation process.
 * Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets company and industry standards.
 * Lead and motivate a team of electrical technicians and subcontractors.
 * Provide guidance and support to ensure the team\'s performance meets project objectives.
 * Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols on-site.
 * Conduct safety briefings and monitor compliance to minimize risks.
 * Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports and progress documentation.
 * Report project status to project managers and senior management as required.
Qualifications and Experience
 * Electrical Qualifications: Possess relevant electrical qualifications and certifications.
 * Building Services Experience: Demonstrated experience in electrical supervision within the building services sector.
 * Project Management Skills: Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.
 * Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
 * Regulatory Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of electrical regulations and industry standards
