Mechanical Fitter

Apex Resources are looking for Mechanical Fitters to join our client’s assembly and production team. The role involves hands‑on fitting, testing, and installation of precision‑engineered systems used across advanced manufacturing sectors.
Key Duties
* Assemble and test mechanical systems and components to high quality standards
* Work with pipework and fittings for water, pneumatics, hydraulics, and gas lines
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical schematics
* Support machinery installation, inspection, and testing (training provided)
* Assist with mechanical fault‑finding and repairs
Requirements
* Time‑served or apprentice‑trained Mechanical Fitter, or equivalent qualification
* At least 2 years’ experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or maintenance environment
* Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
* Experience with pneumatics or hydraulics desirable
* Forklift or access platform licence advantageous
