Payroll Officer

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and administering all aspects of payroll, ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of employee salaries, benefits, and deductions. Responsibilities

1. Oversee and process payroll using Time Management System (TMS) and Sage Micropay for weekly and monthly employees in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
2. Address payroll-related queries from employees and relevant stakeholders.
3. Monitor and update the in-house time and attendance system directly linked to TMS.
4. Register new employees in TMS and generate daily reports for the shop floor.
5. Facilitate company and employee payments/expenses through online banking software.
6. Complete monthly P30s and yearly P60s for submission to the Company Accountant.
7. Calculate share payouts and other payroll-related financial adjustments.
8. Prepare letters for PPS numbers, banks, mortgage applications, and other employee requests.
9. Provide payroll-related administrative support and ensure accurate record-keeping.
10. Assist with general administrative tasks and other duties relevant to the role.


Qualifications

* At least 5 years' experience in high-volume payroll processing within a production/manufacturing environment.
* Working knowledge of Sage Micropay and TMS.
* Working knowledge of ADP payroll (advantageous).


Additional Information

Occasional travel (up to 10%) to other sites may be required.
