We are seeking a highly motivated and experiencedCost Consultantto join ourBuilding Safety Directorateand support the delivery of ourFire Remediation Programme.
This is a pivotal role that will see you act as the commercial lead across a portfolio of critical building safety projects, ensuring robust financial oversight and value-for-money outcomes from inception through to final account settlement.
Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining cost plans, conducting valuations, and ensuring contractor invoices and accounts are accurate and compliant. You will lead procurement activities, manage commercial risk, and provide expert advice on cost implications, contract terms, and performance metrics. Your work will directly influence the financial health and delivery success of the programme.
You will also play a key role in supporting the Building Safety Delivery Team by maintaining accurate commercial records, managing change events, and contributing to continuous improvement in cost management practices.
