Job Description
As a Lead Teacher of Dance at Scarisbrick Hall School, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dance lessons that engage and motivate students. You will contribute to the development of our performing arts curriculum and support extracurricular activities related to dance. You will be expected to have an understanding of the UAL course and have experience of running successful dance rehearsals, shows and activities.
Skills and Qualifications
* Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) is essential
* At least 2 years teaching experience required
* Strong knowledge of dance techniques and styles appropriate for secondary school students
* Ability to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the UK curriculum
* Good classroom management skills
* Effective communication skills with both students and colleagues
