Job Description
* Design and develop a range of mechanical high precision components
* Prepare scheme drawings, and detail manufacturing drawings for production
* Perform mechanical component development and integration
* Solve a variety of mechanical engineering issues and improve existing designs
* Utilise and use CAD packages to create designs
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
* Extensive experience designing mechanical components/systems within the aerospace industry
* Ability to read complex engineering drawings and specifications
* Accomplished using CAD/design software
* In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and geometric tolerances
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyse, and resolve complex design challenges.
Additional Information
* Contract roles available Inside or Outside IR35 (status to be assessed prior to engagement)
* Initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension due to programme demand
* Multiple hires required to support a large-scale engineering workload
