Sales Lead Generator Role

As a Lead Generator, your primary responsibility will be to identify, engage, and generate interest from business prospects who are open to reviewing their energy and utility arrangements.

You will not be required to sell contracts. Instead, your role is to qualify interest and gather accurate information, before passing engaged prospects to an experienced or senior Energy Consultant who will conduct an in-depth consultation and manage the client relationship moving forward.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys conversation, relationship building, and working towards clear performance targets.

Sales Lead Generator Responsibilities

As a Sales Lead Generator, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.

* Proactively contact UK businesses to introduce First for Energy Group and our consultancy services
* Generate qualified, interested leads for senior consultants
* Meet and exceed agreed lead generation targets
* Maintain expected outbound activity levels
* Build rapport quickly and professionally with decision-makers
* Follow call guidelines and compliance processes accurately
* Capture and record detailed, accurate client information to ensure a smooth handover
* Maintain a positive, professional attitude on every interaction
* Continuously develop product and industry knowledge through training and coaching
* Work independently while contributing positively to a team environment


Sales Lead Generator Experience

* Ideally 1 year B2B sales experience or 2 years B2C sales experience
* A strong work ethic and a genuine desire to succeed
* Confidence speaking with business decision-makers
* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
* Ability to think on your feet and handle objections professionally
* Strong attention to detail when qualifying and recording lead data
* Comfortable working towards structured KPIs and targets
* Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own performance
* Understanding of structured sales or call processes is beneficial, but not essential
* Full training provided for the right attitude and mindset
