*Role and Responsibilities*Peter O'Neill Services are recruiting a fully qualified full-time Domestic Gas Service and Maintenance Engineer to mainly work within Cardiff, the Welsh Valleys, Blaenau Gwent and Caerphilly areas.Normal working hours are 08:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday.The ideal candidate must have a knowledge of general heating systems and will be required to service, and fault find on Combi and system boilers. A sound knowledge and experience of working on a variety of domestic boilers is essential as we undertake work on a broad range of heating appliances.We operate an emergency out of hours service so the employee must be willing to participate on the call-out rota during evenings and at weekends.The employee will be dealing with our customers daily, as well as the team in the office, so must always be willing to be flexible, friendly, and co-operative.*Pay and Benefits*Annual salary is £35,000 per annum. Additional income is available through working overtime and undertaking call-out.After working 37.5 hours in a week, time is paid at time-and-a-half.Company vehicle, fuel card, uniform, mobile phone provided.28 days annual holiday entitlement increasing incrementally to a maximum of 33 days after seven years' continuous service.Auto-enrolment pension scheme.*Qualifications and Education Requirements*Experience within the domestic gas industryNatural gas qualifications and servicing and breakdown experienceCCN1/CENWAT/CKR1/HTR1Full UK driving licenseGood communication and interpersonal skillsGood level of English*Preferred Skill*Unvented Hot Water, LPG Oftec qualification and some electrical knowledge would be advantageous.*About Us*Peter O'Neill Services has been operating for over 60 years and covers domestic properties within South East Wales.
