What you’ll be doing: As Assistant Network Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and optimising our bus networks to meet the evolving needs of customers, stakeholders, and local authorities. You’ll support the Network Manager in delivering efficient, punctual, and customer-focused services that drive commercial growth and operational excellence. Your key responsibilities will include: Designing and implementing network changes that improve reliability, efficiency, and profitability. Using data and insight to build robust business cases and monitor performance against targets. Leading on timetable creation, service registrations, and stakeholder consultations. Collaborating with marketing, operations, finance, and union representatives to ensure smooth rollouts. Representing Arriva at public events and with external stakeholders to promote our services. Supporting tender development and contract management, including mobilisation and reporting. Managing and developing Scheduler(s), and working closely with the Schedules Optimisation Lead to drive continuous improvement. Knowledge of transport planning, scheduling, or network design (bus or rail preferred). Experience managing or supporting projects with multiple stakeholders.
