Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and be proficient in using hand and power tools. This role involves interpreting schematics and working with various materials to ensure high-quality fittings are achieved. The Fitter will play a crucial role in the assembly and installation of components, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Responsibilities
* Interpret and work from schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and installation.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
* Perform carpentry tasks, including constructing frameworks and installing fixtures.
* Conduct construction painting as required to finish installations to a high standard.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
Experience
* Proven experience in construction or a related field is essential.
* Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, drills, and chisels.
* Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation is required.
* Experience in carpentry is advantageous, particularly in framework construction.
