Position Overview
The Lead Brand Manager, UK & Ireland will be primarily responsible for the development and implementation of local brand strategy and tactics across the UK and Ireland for our breast cancer test.
This role reports to the Director, International Marketing and is part of the International Marketing team. The team will work closely together to deliver the International brand strategy at country level and collaborate to design initiatives that will be delivered locally.
The role will require close working with the Country Manager, UK & Ireland, and relevant country cross-functional colleagues to plan, develop and deliver excellent and timely content, materials and programs in line with brand strategy.
The position is based in the London office.
Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Develop a detailed marketing plan to position our products in a competitive market.
2. Initiate and develop tools and programs focused on a variety of clinical and non-clinical audiences (i.e., oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, and patients.).
3. Support and organize aspects of speaker, advisory boards and peer-to-peer education programs, including faculty selection, recruitment, agenda development, logistical coordination, and regulatory and compliance review.
4. Work with Digital Marketing to execute digital marketing campaigns and leverage omni channel marketing.
5. Liaise with various outside groups, including current or prospective service vendors, such as Advertising, Medical Education, and PR agencies.
6. Collaborate with internal parties, especially the Canadian commercial team, international marketing team, and medical affairs director, on a wide range of projects.
7. Be a key member of the UK/Ireland leadership team
8. Handle questions and requests related to marketing programs and functions and keep current on all technical and clinical data associated with the assay.
9. Maintain a pulse on the future of genomic cancer diagnostics and healthcare trends.
10. Attend outside meetings and prepare reports to convey scientific or competitive information that may affect Exact Sciences’ market, as needed.
11. Assist in coordinating regulatory and legal review of new or revised materials in a timely fashion.
12. Manage spend and budgets as per annual plans, working closely with the International Marketing Director and the UK/Ireland Country Manager.
13. Excellent teamwork and interaction skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams and interface effectively with internal partners to include Sales, Medical Affairs/Communications, Market Access, Communications, Executives, and outside agencies and vendors.

Minimum Qualifications
21. Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Science, or field as outlined in the essential duties; or Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of experience in business administration, science, or field as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Master’s Degree
22. 8+ years’ marketing experience within the healthcare sector
23. Experience of:Brand planning cycles within pharmaceutical or medical device businessesCollaborating with commercial field teams and cross-functional therapy area teamsWorking with and building relationships with HCPs and other external stakeholders
24. Working knowledge of relevant codes of practice
25. Knowledge of market structure and landscape within the UK, knowledge of Ireland a bonus.
26. Experience in working with creative agencies and other external partners to support business goals
27. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
